AJProTech LLC (“AJProTech,” “we,” “us“) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ajprotech.com (the “Site“) and related communications, how we use it, and your rights.
This policy does not apply to information we process on behalf of our clients under a services agreement; in those cases, our client controls that data and their privacy policy governs.
Information we collect
You provide: name, email, phone number, company, job title, project details, budget and timeline, attachments, and the content of your communications with us.
Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location from IP, and cookies (see below).
From third parties: analytics and advertising providers, business contact enrichment services (e.g., LinkedIn), and referrals.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. Please avoid sharing it in project descriptions or attachments.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide services.
- Send newsletters, eBooks, and marketing communications (where permitted).
- Improve our Site through analytics and testing.
- Qualify and route leads in our CRM.
- Maintain security and prevent fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Evaluate or complete business transactions (e.g., a merger or financing).
Legal bases for EU/UK visitors: contract performance, legitimate interests (running our business, B2B marketing, securing the Site), consent (where required, including non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it with:
- Service providers that help us operate (hosting, analytics, CRM, email, calendar and video tools, professional advisors), under contracts that limit their use to providing services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag) that may receive information about your interactions with our Site for measurement and targeted advertising. Under California’s CPRA, this may be “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out below.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.
- Anyone you direct us to, such as a partner you ask us to introduce you to.
Cookies
We use cookies for site functionality, analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (including retargeting via Google Tag Manager and LinkedIn Insight Tag).
You can manage cookies through your browser, opt out of Google Analytics via the opt-out add-on, and adjust ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and LinkedIn ad preferences. For EU/UK and California visitors, we provide a cookie banner to accept or reject non-essential cookies, accessible at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in our footer. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against. We do not sell personal information for money but do share identifiers, internet activity, and approximate location with advertising partners. Submit requests to [email protected] or use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer. We respond within 45 days and verify your identity before fulfilling access, correction, or deletion requests.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland) have similar rights, including the right to appeal a denied request. Email [email protected] to exercise rights or appeal a decision.
EU, UK, and Swiss residents have rights under GDPR to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, and port personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. AJProTech LLC is the controller. We transfer data to the United States under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable).
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed:
- Inquiry and lead data: up to 5 years from your last interaction.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Client records: duration of the engagement plus 7 years for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
- Website analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics default).
- Backups: overwritten on routine rotation (within 90 days).
You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards (access controls, TLS encryption, vendor due diligence, employee training) to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and applicable authorities of any security incident as required by law.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a Site notice.
